MONTHLY BUSINESS MEETING  FEBRUARY 2 2017

Jordan (Business Meeting Chairman) opened the meeting with the Serenity Prayer approximately 8:15pm

Minutes of last Business Meeting (Jan . 5, 2017) read and approved.  (available online at aamammothlakes.com and posted in meeting hall)

Treasurers Report for January presented and approved.

H and I Report (Kevin G.)

H and I funds total $706.52 with two reimbursement checks outstanding ($50)  . Kevin will disburse the remainder over prudent reserve ($300)  to the approved entities with the aide of former H and I Treasurer Jordan.

Literature  (Joe A.)

Case of  hardcover Big Books have been ordered.  No other current literature needs.

 

Jail/Juve Co-ordinators (Cai and Brian)

We are limited to 25 members on the Mono County Jail clearance list.  Those who are on the list and no longer attend jail meetings are encouraged to contact the coordinators to remove themselves from the active list to make room for new, available members can carry the message.  Cai will be calling all cleared members to expedite this process.  Cai will also be posting a calendar in the meeting hall  for cleared members to sign up for the Jail meeting commitment in advance.

Saturday Night Speakers (Jessica)

Last month’s speaker could not come due to a cancelled flight.  He was not able to be refunded from Motel 6 and had to pay for the housing.   Jessica felt that he should be comped a room at a future time .

All Saturday night speaker spots are filled for the next 6 months

 

GSR Report (Julie D, Sal M Alt)

Julie reported on the District 8 meeting.  District 8 is forming a “Sunshine Committee” to bring meetings to shut-in members.  If anyone knows a member who cannot attend meetings in our District due to mobility/health concerns, please let Julie know.

Also, District 8 will be discussing how to co-ordinate local CPC/PI acitivities.  Sal and Julia will be reimbursed by MLAA for travel (gas) to Tonopah for the GSR Training. In addition, the group will reimburse Sal and Julia for expenses incurred to attend PRASSA .See GSR tab for handout “Safety and AA: Our Common Welfare”
